Mr. William Russell Bruce Smerdon, age 62, of Leominster, died on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was the husband of the late Denise (Rowe) Smerdon.

Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Russell & Helen (Summers) Smerdon. William was a loving father, brother & grandfather. He enjoyed playing darts, spending time with family and friends, and most of all he really enjoyed life. William especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by two children, Falisha Smerdon & William Smerdon & his wife Melissa; their mother, Paula (Conrad) Skelly; four grandchildren, Rocco Pizarro, Emily, Dylan & Hannah Smerdon; two brothers, Russell Smerdon & John Smerdon & his wife Lori; one sister, Diane & her husband Karl Armano; six nephews, Domenic, Joseph & Jonathan Armano, Jason, Ryan, & Danny Smerdon; three nieces, Allyson Rossi, Stephanie & Samantha Smerdon.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Bill's Life at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2104, 32 Park Street, North Andover on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 6 - 10 p.m
