Mrs. Victora Ortega Caraballo, age 94, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at her home in Lawrence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Cecilio Amaro.

Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Jose Ortega and Josefa Caraballo.

Victoria is survived by seven children, Victor Amaro, Carmen Amaro, Aurora Amaro, Paulino Ortega, Maria Delos Angeles, Amelia Amaro & Enma Valentin; 18 grandchildren; 29 grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; one brother, Gregorio Ortega; and one sister, Cleotilde Rivera. She is predeceased by three children, Jose Amaro, Maria Amaro & Ramon Amero and three siblings, Alejo Ortega, Pedro Rivera and Mercedes Rivera.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at ST. MARY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, 300 Haverhill & Hampshire Streets, Lawrence on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 4 - 8 p.m. A funeral mass will follow visiting hours, beginning at 8 p.m. At Victoria's request, burial will take place at Cementerio Municipal de Arroyo in Arroyo, Puerto Rico.
