Rosemary A. Gil

Ms. Rosemary A. “Rose” Gil spread love and kindness on earth for 45 years but was called away by the Lord on July 29, 2022. Rose was born in Yonkers, NY on February 6, 1977 to Maria and the late Ramon Gil and is the youngest of 5 children. From a young age, Rose was a devout fashionista and worked very hard to perfect her look by changing outfits at least 5 times a day as a child! She also loved music and had an adventurous spirit. 

Rose was soft spoken and articulate but a fierce protector of her family. She was kind and believed in fairness and helping people in need – volunteering for the Movement Family in Lawrence and other causes. 

Her greatest love of all were her two children – Jensy Tapia and Amelia Walters. She believed they were her greatest achievements in life and was proud to be their mother. 

In addition to her children, Rose is survived by many who loved her dearly - her mother, Maria Gil and four siblings: Ramon Gil, Jr. & his wife Aleida, Angelica Gil & her husband Roger, Yesenia Gil & her husband Nestor and Jeffrey Gil & his wife Yesenia; Nieces and nephews – Nicholas, Aran, Anny, Jacob, Kayleigh, Yazmin, Julien, Anthony, Jenalise and Jianni; Great nieces and nephews – Adrianna, Aleeyah, Phoenix, Ruby and Mileena; an aunt (Gladys) whom she adored and many uncles, cousins and friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Rosemary A. Gil at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA on August 6, 2022 from 9:30am – 11:30am followed by a mass service at the funeral home at 11:30am. Internment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence, MA after the mass.

La Sra. Rosemary A.”Rose” Gil difundió amor y bondad en la tierra durante 45 años, pero el Señor la llamó el 29 de julio del2022. Rose nació en Yonkers, NY el 6 de febrero de 1977, hija de María y el ya fallecido Ramón Gil, fue la menor de 5 hijos. Desde muy joven, Rose fue una devota fashionista y trabajó muy duro para perfeccionar su apariencia cambiandosé de ropa al menos 5 veces al día cuando era niña. También amaba la música y tenía un espíritu aventurero.

Rose era de voz suave y articulada, pero una feroz protectora de su familia. Era amable y creía en la justicia y en ayudar a las personas necesitadas: se ofreció como voluntaria para la Familia del Movimiento en Lawrence y otras causas.

Su mayor amor fuerón sus dos hijos: Jensy Tapia y Amelia Walters. Ella creía que erán sus mayores logros en la vida y estaba orgullosa de ser su madre.

Además de sus hijos, a Rose le sobreviven muchos que la amaban: su madre, María Gil y cuatro hermanos: Ramón Gil, Jr. y su esposa Aleida, Angélica Gil y su esposo Roger, Yesenia Gil y su esposo Néstor y Jeffrey Gil y su esposa Yesenia; Sobrinas y sobrinos: Nicholas, Aran, Anny, Jacob, Kayleigh, Yazmin, Julien, Anthony, Jenalise y Jianni; Sobrinas y sobrinos bisnietos: Adrianna, Aleeyah, Phoenix, Ruby y Mileena; una tía (Gladys) a quien adoraba y muchos tíos, primos y amigos.

Los familiares y amigos están invitados asistir a una celebración de la vida de Rosemary A. Gil en Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA el 6 de agosto de 2022 de 9:30am a 11:30am seguido de una ceremonia en la funeraria a las 11:30 am. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio de St. Mary en Lawrence, MA.
