Rosa deJurado

Mrs. Rosa deJurado, age 87, of Lawrence, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Lawrence General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Isabelino "Ruben" Jurado.

Born in Tenares, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Domingo Mejia and Maria Mendez.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Celin "Silenti" Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Renzo Garcia & his wife Violeta, Manuel Garcia, and Tonie "Antonia" Burgos & her husband Homero; fourteen grandchildren, Nicole Edry, Shana Reizfeld, Lea Reizfeld, Miguel Garcia, Jr., Channel Garcia, Natasha Garcia, Isabella Garcia, Elizabeth Lopez, Erica Perdomo, Immanuel Garcia, Eric Garcia, Antoinette Alexandre, Homero Burgos, Jr., and Katie Herrera; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Militon Mejia and Antonio Mejia.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 4 - 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
