Mr. Robert L. DiNicola, Sr., age 75, of Lawrence, died on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at his daughter’s home in North Andover, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of the late Sheila Mae (Demers) DiNicola, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Gabriele and Annie (Giantonio) DiNicola. He worked for many years as a manager for Lawrence Maid Footwear, where he met his wife, Sheila. A devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Lawrence, he enjoyed going to the beach and bowling. His favorite pastime was music, he was always known to bring out his karaoke machine and start singing.

Robert is survived by four daughters, Tabatha DiNicola, Tara DiNicola, Tarsha DiNicola, and Tina Rivera; one son, Robert DiNicola, Jr.; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Gauvin & her husband Jerry; and one nephew, Bob Fogg. He was also survived by many nieces & nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by one son-in-law, Michael Rivera; five brothers, Daniel DiNicola, Donald DiNicola, Alexander DiNicola, Richard DiNicola, and Ronald DiNicola; his sister-in-law, Sharon Fogg; and his nephew, Jeraminah Fogg.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4 – 7 p.m. On Friday, July 26, 2024 a funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence at 11 a.m. (Please meet directly at church) At the family’s request, interment will be private.
