Neil E. Hart

Mr. Neil E. Hart, age 79, of Lawrence, died on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. He was the loving husband of Gwen (McCormack) Hart, with whom he shared over 20 years if marriage.

Born in Methuen and raised in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Ernest F. and Louise G. (Richardson) Hart. Neil was a class of 1960 graduate from Lawrence High School and then he joined the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Neil worked for many years as an electrician. He owned Hart Electric in Lawrence and retired from the City of Methuen as a Master Electrician.

In addition to his wife, Neil is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Mnoz-Soto & her husband Michael; three brothers, Ernest “Butch” Hart & his wife Maryanne, Norman Hart & his wife Beverly, and Justin Hart; and one sister, Louise Hart; one granddaughter, Nevaeh. He was also survived by many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Marion McQuade; and one brother, Alan Hart.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 9 – 11 a.m. At the family's request, interment will be private.
