Marguerite T. Keene

Mrs. Marguerite T. (Bresnahan) Keene, age 95, of Massachusetts, died on Easter Sunday at the Vasser Hospital in NY. She was the loving wife of the late Ret. Maj. Raymond E. Keene.

Born and raised in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary (Corcoran) Bresnahan. A devoted homemaker, she raised her military family all over the world. She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her family, especially on their yearly beach vacation in Seabrook, NH. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, always known to be watching a game. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Lawrence.

Marguerite is survived by four daughters, Hazel Kurrasch, Janet Leete & her husband Tom, Patricia Carr & her husband George, Mary Keene & her husband Ron Bruce all of NY; one son, Jim Keene & his wife Lisa of Seabrook, NH; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her sons-in-law, Joseph Quinn of NH & George Behuniak of NY. In addition to her husband & parents, she was predeceased by two daughters, Cornelia Quinn & Susan Behuniak.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 5 – 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael Church, 196 Main St., North Andover on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover.
