Mrs. Louise Hart, age 78, of Andover, formerly of Lawrence, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Born and raised in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest F. & Louise G. (Richardson) Hart. Louise was an accomplished woman, she earned Bachelor Degrees from Boston University, Harvard & UMass Lowell. She pursued several career paths throughout her life, she was most proud of being an author, 22 of her books were published and sold throughout book stores. Louise was active in politics, she was a congressional candidate in the 5th district, worked for the Reagan Presidential Campaign, and was invited to the White House. She was listed in Who’s Who in American Poetry & Business and nominated to the National Health Service Core by the Reagan Administration. In her spare time, she loved dancing, baking for family & friends, and creating poetry.
Louise is survived by 2 sons, Erik Day & his fiancée Sarah Daly & Garett Day & his spouse Holliann; 5 grandchildren, Caitlyn Day, Jessica & Alyssa Lajoie, Noah & Oliver Sternick; 2 great grandchildren, Rilee & Charlotte; 3 brothers, Butch, Norman & Justin Hart. She was also survived by many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Alan & Neil Hart.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home , 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 4 – 7 p.m. Louise’s funeral will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
