Leocadia Mercedes Vasquez

Mrs. Leocadia Mercedes Vasquez, age70, of Lawrence, died on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Lawrence General Hospital. 

Born in Moca, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Jose Elias Ramirez and Maria Antonia Ramirez.

She is survived by two sons, Alberico Marrero & his wife Jatnna and Mikhail Marrero; four grandchildren, Alaiah, Erike, Kenneth, & Natalie; one great grandchild, Manuel. She is also survived by many other relatives.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 3 - 6 p.m. On Monday, January 9, 2023, Leocadia's funeral will begin at the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Hampshire Street, Lawrence at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
