Juan Martin Vargas Portorreal, age 49, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at his home in Lawrence. He was the husband of Solandy Garcia Herrera.

Born and raised in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic, he was the son of Juan A. Vargas & Maria Portorreal.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence, on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4 - 7 p.m. Interment will take place at Cementerio La Mercedes in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic.
