Mr. Juan R. Bordas Fernandez, age 50, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2017, at his home in Lawrence. He is the loving husband of Reysa Bordas.

Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, he was the son of Ana Fernandez and the late Victor Bordas. Juan worked for years as a self-employed taxi driver. He was a very humble man, who loved to cook, eat good food, especially while he watched baseball and football. Juan also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he would always be up for having a good time.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 5 - 8 p.m. At the family's request, interment will be private.
