Joseph W. Garcia

Joseph William Garcia, age 10, of Lawrence, earned his angel wings on December 4, 2019  

Joseph was born on July 30, 2009, in Boston to his mother, Zulaika Garcia. Joseph was a happy, outgoing, energetic boy.  He loved to sing and dance, play video games, swim and play soccer.  He enjoyed eating pizza, tacos, rice and beans.  He loved Woody from Toy Story and playing with Dinosaurs. Joseph attended the Guilmette Elementary School, where he will be missed by his classmates and many teachers.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Zulaika Garcia, his father, Justin Kasperowitz,his 9 year old brother, Jaiden Garcia; his maternal grandparents, Patricia Boland and Anibal Garcia; Uncles, Junior, Joel and his wife Mariel Betancourt and Isaiah Garcia; cousins, Kayeliani Garcia and Elias Garcia; and God Parents, Amy Brennan and Daniel Brennan. Joseph will also be missed by numerous family, friends, teachers and doctors.

Relatives and Friends are invited to gather for visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home,107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. Joseph’s funeral will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the funeral home, beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
