Jose Y. Jorge Lopez

Mr. Jose Y. Jorge Lopez, age 90, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Lawrence General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Francisca (Morel Reynoso) Jorge.

Born in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Jose Jorge & Melania Lopez. He worked for many years as a police officer in the Dominican Republic.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5 - 8 p.m. On Friday, February 27, 2026, Jorge's funeral will begin at the funeral home at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Hampshire St., Lawrence at 12 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
