Mr. Hector Perez, Jr., age 43, of Lawrence, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Lawrence General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Miriam (Juarez) Perez, with whom he shared 20 years of marriage.

Born in the Bronx, New York and raised in Lawrence, he was the son of Hector Perez and Sara Saldana. Hector attended Lawrence Public Schools and graduated from Lawrence High School with the class of 1996. He worked for over 20 years as the head custodian of the Breen School in Lawrence. In his spare time, Hector loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed working on cars.

In addition to his wife and parents, Hector is survived by three children, Mykayla Perez, Izayah Perez and Sophia Rodriguez-Perez; several brothers and sisters; and he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Hector was predeceased by his daughter, Kiara Iris Perez.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4 – 7 p.m. On Friday, August 13, 2021, Hectors funeral will be held at the funeral home from 9-10 a.m.
