Obituary
Mr. Hector R. Medrano Pinales, age 68, of Hazelton, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Born in Ocoa, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Octaviano Medrano and Palmira Pinales.
Hector is survived by three children, Hector G. Medrano & his wife Rachel, Ruth Estefany Medrano Soto & her husband Abel Hernandez Méndez, and Hector A. Medrano & his wife Stephanie; eleven grandchildren, Isaac Medrano, James Medrano, Inasha Medrano, Andre Rodriguez, Linnabel Hernandez, Engel Concepción, Emma Medrano, Jatnessa Medrano, Jayven Medrano, and Kayden Medrano; twelve siblings, Angela, Tere, Magui, Jacque, Yosy, Linna, Luisa, Dignora, Rafa, Tonito, Jacobo, and Papito. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two siblings, Mery and Paladino.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 4 - 7 p.m. At the family’s request, interment will be private.
