Mrs. Grecia Bobadilla, age 91, of Lawrence, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence, surrounded by her loving family. 
Born in Luperon, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Salomon Bobadilla & Ismaela Santos. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Lawrence, she volunteered her time as a Eucharistic Minister, taught CCD, and would visit the sick at area hospitals and nursing homes. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary. Being the oldest daughter out of 31 children, Grecia was very family oriented, she devoted her life to God and raising her miracle child.
Grecia is survived by 1 daughter, Carmen Leomaris Laorenza; 3 grandchildren, Gina Olsen, Genell Gorman, & Anthony Laorenza; 3 great grandchildren, Sloane, Emma, & Monroe; and 14 siblings. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by 16 siblings.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 4 -7 p.m. On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, her funeral will begin at the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Hampshire St., Lawrence at 10 a.m. Entombment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
