Francisco A. Polanco

Mr. Francisco Antonio Polanco, age 68, of Lawrence, died on January 4, 2021 at the Lawrence General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Dora Peña.

Francisco was born in San Francisco, Domican Republic on September 17, 1952, he was the loving son of Pedro Polanco and Daniela Brito. He worked in a transportation company for many years. Francisco was known for his positive attitude, love of music and energertic personality. He was a very happy person, he enjoyed singing, doing karoekes and he loved playing dominoes.

In addition to his wife, Francisco is survived by four children, Freddy Polanco & his wife Yoly Melo, JoseLuis Polanco & his wife Candise Polanco, Franklin Polanco & his wife Leticia Espiritusanto, and Daniela Gomez & her husband Richard Gomez; seven grandchildren, Junior Bonilla, Ryan Gomez, Sheila Polanco, Franshely Polanco, Rihana Gomez, Sherilyn Polanco, and Bryan Polanco. He was also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence, Adhering to CDC and state guidelines, masks & proper social distancing will be required.
