David H. Twomey

Mr. David H. Twomey, age 82, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, formerly of Lawrence, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was the loving husband of Carol (Canane) Twomey, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Vincent, Sr. and Jeanette (Lagasse) Twomey.  David graduated from Central Catholic High School and Lowell Technological Institute. He was a member of the US Coast Guard and worked for many years in the sales department at Sel-Rex.  He took great pride in being a huge contributor of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine. In his spare time, he would enjoy traveling, camping, going to the beach, and watching the Red Sox and Patriots.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by 4 children, David Twomey, Jr., Catherine DeSantis, Christopher Twomey, & Bryan Twomey & his wife Audrey; many grandchildren & great grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives & friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Vincent Twomey, Jr. and a son-in-law, William DeSantis.
