He went on to study engineering at Umass Lowell. He liked playing chess, darts, poker and pool. He especially loved meeting up with his friends there. He also loved to play golf and was very proud when he got a hole in one. He has lived in Washington state for the past 15 years where he worked as a manager at Global Calibrations. He also had a daily online chess game going with an east coast friend since he moved out west. He was such a math wiz. Some even called him a human calculator. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston sports teams especially the Patriots. He loved to brag and wear his home team logos out west. The one thing Dan loved most in this world was his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland G. Langlois Jr. He is survived by his Mother, Diane Langlois and longtime partner Joseph Montgomery of Lawrence, his sisters, Jessica Sanchezand husband Anibal of Methuen, Patrisha Lynch of Danvers, step father, John Lynch of Danvers, step sister Jennifer Lynch and fiance Ed Merrick of Danvers, step brother Joshua Lynch and wife Carly of Beverly and his nieces, nephews, many cousins, aunts and uncles.
