Cecilio German

Sr. Cecilio German, de 74 años, de Lawrence, falleció el domingo 13 de febrero de 2022 en Lawrence General Hospital, rodeado de su amada familia. Fue esposo de Ysabel Maldonado.

Nacido y criado en San Cristóbal, República Dominicana, era hijo de Rozon Melenciano y Maria German. Cecilio fue un hombre íntegro y de fe, que amaba a Dios. Le gustaba jugar softbol y todos lo conocían como "El Zorro". Además de su esposa, a Cecilio le sobreviven 3 hijos, Cristina German, Shirley German y Roberto German y su esposa Lorena; 7 nietos, Shamel, Kiana, Isaiah, Kadmiel, Analiz, Zion y Sol. Padres de los nietos, Alvaro y Daniel; 7 hermanos, Margarita Melenciano German, Ramon German, Jose Guante German, Emilio Guante German, Pablo Soler y Jose Frankelly Rodriguez. También le sobreviven muchos otros familiares y amigos cercanos. Fue un excelente hijo con su madre.Le dió todo lo que ella necesitaba en vida hasta el último suspiro de su madre. Él era un buen padre, hijo, hermano, tío y amigo.

Los familiares y amigos están invitados a asistir al horario de visitas en la Iglesia Evangélica Metodista, 201 Haverhill Street, Lawrence el jueves 17 de febrero de 2022 de 3 a 6 p.m. El viernes, el funeral de Cecilio se llevará a cabo en Funeraria Diaz-Healy, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence, de 9 a 10 a. m. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Santa Maria en Lawrence.

Mr. Cecilio German, age 74, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Ysabel Maldonado. Born and raised in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Rozon Melenciano & Maria German. Cecilio was a man of integrity and faith, who loved God. He enjoyed playing softball and was known to everyone by his nickname, “El Zorro”. In addition to his wife, Cecilio is survived by 3 children, Cristina German, Shirley German, & Roberto German & his wife Lorena; 7 grandchildren, Shamel, Kiana, Isaiah, Kadmiel, Analiz, Zion y Sol. Also, the father of his grandchildren, Alvaro & Daniel; 6 siblings, Margarita Melenciano German, Ramon German, Jose Guante German, Emilio Guante German, Pablo Soler and Jose Frankelly Rodriguez. He is also survived by many other relatives and close friends.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Evangelical Methodist Church, 201 Haverhill Street, Lawrence on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 3 -6 p.m. On Friday, Cecilio's funeral will be held at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence from 9 - 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
