Ms. Berenice Del Carmen Baez Collado, age 40, of Methuen, died on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home in Methuen, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Francisca Collado and the late Melanio A. Baez. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in the Dominican Republic and she worked as a manager for Bank of America in the United States. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts and was known to put the needs of others above her own. Berenice was a kind, humble woman of faith and was loved by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Fhraybert Tavarez Baez and Liam Manuel Ramos Baez; one sister, Anilda Baez; one brother, Sixto Baez; she is also survived by her nieces, nephews and close friends.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 4 - 7 p.m. On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, Berenice’s funeral will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. 
 

La Sra. Berenice Del Carmen Baez Collado, de 40 años, de Methuen, murió el martes 20 de agosto de 2024 en su casa de Methuen, rodeada de su amorosa familia.

Nacida y criada en Santiago, República Dominicana, era hija de Francisca Collado y el difunto Melanio A. Baez. Obtuvo una licenciatura en la República Dominicana y trabajó como gerente del Bank of America en los Estados Unidos. En su tiempo libre, disfrutaba haciendo manualidades y era conocida por poner las necesidades de los demás por encima de las suyas. Berenice era una mujer amable, humilde y de fe y era amada por toda su familia y amigos.

Además de su madre, le sobreviven dos hijos, Fhraybert Tavarez Baez y Liam Manuel Ramos Baez; una hermana, Anilda Baez; un hermano, Sixto Baez; también le sobreviven sus sobrinas, sobrinos y amigos cercanos.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a asistir al horario de visita en la funeraria Diaz-Healy, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence, el lunes 26 de agosto de 2024 de 4 a 7 p. m. El martes 27 de agosto de 2024, el funeral de Berenice se llevará a cabo en la funeraria a las 9:30 a. m. El sepelio se realizará en el cementerio Elmwood en Methuen.
