Alyce Arsenault Obituary

Mrs. Alyce L. (Iworsley) Arsenault, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Methuen. She was the loving wife of Stephen Arsenault, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Mack & Lorraine (O’Reilly) Iworsley.  Alyce was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Lawrence.  She held many jobs throughout her career, and retired in 2011 from the IRS as an administrative assistant. Alyce was very artistic; her hobbies included, ceramics, arts & crafts with kids & diamond painting, which she created her prized Cinderella piece. She also enjoyed bowling, reading, listening to music & watching TV. Some of her favorite shows were Americas Funniest Home Videos, Kids Bake Off & Young Sheldon.

In addition to her husband, Alyce is survived by two children, Heidi Broadley & her husband Robert of Danville, NH and Joel Arsenault of Lawrence; one brother, Kevin Iworsley & his wife Susan of CT; her sisters in-law, Kathy Iworsely of Andover and Donna Morin of FL; her beloved dog, Mindy Muffin; Stephen’s “Little Brother” Steven Woodard, his mother, Mary and Son, Evan. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Iworsley.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alyce’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or MSCPA 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 80 Corbett St., Andover on Saturday, September 12 at 11 a.m. Adhering to the state guidelines, face coverings and social distancing will be required.
