Ms. Ada I. Burgos, age 55, of Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2019, at her home in Lawrence.
Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, she was the loving daughter of the late Domingo Diaz and Benita Toro. Ada has lived in Lawrence since she was a child and she was a graduate of Methuen High School. A devoted homemaker for many years, Ada loved nothing more than being around her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Ada is survived by her four children, Monica Gonzalez, Gorge Burgos, Kevin Gomez & Luis Gomez; five siblings, Jose Velez, Orlando Rodriguez, Wanda Rodriguez, Lydia Diaz & Jessica Nichols Jiles; and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 5 - 8 p.m. On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Ada's funeral will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
