Richard M. Gould

Mr. Richard M. Gould, age 67, of Lawrence, formerly of Somerville, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Josephine A. (Novella) Gould.

Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Fred W. and Kathleen (Duffy) Gould. Richard was a graduate of Medford High School and worked at James A. Kiley in Somerville, for many years, as a heavy machine mechanic. 

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by five children, Shawn, Michael, Jason, Patrick & Erin Tiernan; three grandchildren, Casey Tiernan, Timothy Valentino & Lyon Jefferson; one sister, Kathleen Michaels & her husband Marc. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Richard was predeceased by two brothers, James Gould & Maurice Gould.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5 - 8 p.m. At the family's request, interment will be private.
