Mr. Bo Toeur, age 92, of Lawrence, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Sameth Chhang.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, Bo was the oldest out of six siblings. While in Cambodia, he worked as a farmer and fisherman and even lived through the Khmer Rouge regime. It was not long after that, when Bo decided to bring his family to America, so that he could give his children a better life. Bo was a genuine, caring and loving man, he was well-liked and respected by many people. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing his Cambodian instrument; tror ou (low-pitched two-string fiddle), going to the temple, playing cards, watching boxing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. 

In addition to his wife, Bo is survived by six children, Bon Bo, Mearn Bo, Mourn Bo, Sambath Bo, Samoeurth Bo and Samol Bo; 10 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; 3 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson. He was predeceased by one child and one grandson.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 3 - 7 p.m. On Sunday, June 11, 2017 there will be a service at the Glory Buddhist Temple, 24 Cambridge Street, Lowell from 3 - 8 p.m.
