Mrs. Karen June (Ruth) Lemire, age 61, died on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her home in Lawrence. 

Born in Lawrence on May 10, 1955, Karen was the daughter of Bette (Mondalto) Ruth and the late Jerry Ruth. She worked as a bartender at the former Southside Bar in Lawrence for many years.

In addition to her mother, Karen is survived by one son, Justin Hileman; one daughter, Jessica Lemire; and three grandchildren, Cora Grace Post, Marc Gosselin & Autumn Liverett.

At Karen's request, services will be private.
