Ms. Enelida Burgos, age 66, of Lawrence, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Wingate Nursing Home in Andover. She was the daughter of the late Juan Burgos Roman and Virginia (Bayon) Burgos.

Born in Lares, Puerto Rico on October 17, 1949, Enelida moved to Chicago, Illinois when she was about 5 years old, where she was raised and even began to raise her own family. About 25 years ago, Enelida decided to move to Lawrence, Massachusetts, where she spent the remainder of her adult life. Family was very important to her, she was always taking care of people and would spend as much time with her family as she possibly could.  She was a very happy person, who would always put others needs before her own. In her spare time, Enelida enjoyed listening to music and attending family parties. One of Enelida’s best qualities was forgiveness, she was known to forgive and never hold a grudge against anyone.

Enelida is survived by her daughter, Joanna Batistini, her husband Lisandro & their children, Lisandro Batistini, Jr., Xavier Batistini, Eric Batistini and Jasmine Batistini all of Lawrence; her daughter, Enelida Carrozza, her husband Joseph & their children Julia Carrozza, Joseph Carrozza, Jr. and Kaila Carrozza all of Chicago, IL; her daughter, Myra Flores and her two children of Wisconsin; her son, Isabilino Flores, his wife Jessica & his three children of MA. She is also survived by nine siblings and many nieces and nephews. Enelida was known as Lela to all her grandchildren.
