Mrs. Emelinda Beltre de Guerrero, age 89, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at her home on Crawford Street in Lawrence, surrounded  by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Abraham Guerrero.

Born on June 28, 1926, in Higuey, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Miguel Beltre and Maria Sanchez. Emelinda was devoted to her faith, she enjoyed the bible and attending church on a regular basis. Music was a passion of Emelinda's, she liked to listen and sing to all different genres. Most of all, Emelinda loved to be around her family. She would especially enjoy listening to her family play music for her.

Emelinda is survived by ten children, Narciso Guerrero of Lawrence, Angela Guerrero of Lawrence, Antonia Guerrero of Lawrence, Elvira Guerrero of Dominican Republic, Eladio Guerrero of Lawrence, Dario Guerrero of Lawrence, Ramon Guerrero of Dominican Republic, Idalisa Guerrero of Dominican Republic, Ramona Guerrero of Lawrence & Ludys Guerrero of Lawrence; Several grandchildren and great children of Lawrence and Dominican Republic.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 5 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence.
