Mrs. Bibiana “Lumin” Ruiz Cora, age 75, of Lawrence, died on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. She was the loving wife of the late Marcos A. Aguirre, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage before he died in 2009.

Born and raised in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Cruz Ruiz & Carmen Cora. Besides spending time with her loved ones, she enjoyed playing bingo, dominos and dancing. Lumin will be missed by all who knew her. 

Bibiana is survived by, three children, Belinda Rodriguez, Aracelis Cora & Luis Cora; three sisters, Teresa Ruiz, Cruz Maria Ruiz & Cecilia Torres; one brother, Cesario Ruiz; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Bibiana was predeceased by two children, Marilyn Torres & Cesar Cintron.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Lawrence on Wednesday, October 12th from 5 – 8 p.m. Bibiana’s funeral will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 13th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
